Rich
Hi, my name is Rich and I am the owner of Fetch! Pet Care of Michiana. I have had a love for animals as far back as I can remember, but being 1 of 6 kids, my mother was slow to believe my unconvincing arguments that I could handle a pet. Finally, at the age of 10, she broke down and let me get my first parakeet, Petey. Since Petey, I have had a few more birds, a couple of hamsters, a frog, fish, dogs, and now 3 bunnies.
The reason I decided to open Fetch! Pet Care of Michiana, besides the obvious appeal of caring for animals for a job, was because of my last dog, Logan. Logan was a miniature pinscher who had a number of medical conditions, including diabetes. After much searching, we found a pet sitter that Logan loved that was comfortable giving him his insulin shots, his other medication, and of course, the cuddles he couldn’t get enough of. This sitter was wonderful with Logan and we always knew he was well taken care of when we weren’t home.
This trusted, individualized care is what Fetch! Pet Care of Michiana is all about. The Fetch! family provides the benefits of a large and experienced company with a local touch and will give you the peace of mind that your pet will get the highest level of care while you are away.

Chelsea
I live my life with the motto “Be the person your dog thinks you are.” Ever since I was a little girl, walking up to horses as tall as skyscrapers with no fear, I have had love and passion for animals. From snakes and frogs to pigs and cattle, ducks, dogs, cats and fish, I have literally cared for them all. I’m a former animal shelter worker and have loads of experience with timid animals. My time at the shelter gave me experience in med administration, especially injections, behavioral setbacks and just the ability to show kindness to a creature that may have never known such a thing existed. I got to get up close with wildlife like a swan and baby raccoons as well as bunnies. So, when I’m not spending time with my pack of 6 dogs, four cats, two rats and a bearded dragon, I’d love to overflow my care and love to yours. Can’t wait to tell your fur baby they’re a good boy.
Ellie
Hello! My name is Ellie and I am the Pet Care Operations Specialist at Fetch! Pet Care of Michiana. I am very passionate about caring for animals and having the opportunity to be a positive force in their life is something that I find fulfilling. I love learning new things about animals and I am always eager to learn more. I currently have 6 animals at home. I have two cats (Doja and Augustus), two rats (Juno and Cesar), and two hedgehogs (Eddie and Dustin). I also have a family dog who is pictured with me and her name is Rogue! Doja was a stray cat who I took in off the street and she was my first ever independently owned furry friend. Little did I know, Miss Doja was pregnant when I took her in and was soon going to have 3 kittens. One of her babies is Augustus, the other kitty I currently have at home. She made me realize how passionate I am about being there for animals. The reason that I wanted to become apart of Fetch! Pet Care of Michiana is because of how passionate they are about providing top quality services to the animals and the owners. I have prior experience and training working with animals including special cases that required medications and I also have experience working with dogs who have extra behavioral needs.
Jocelyn
A researcher at heart, life always seems to take me through unexpected paths to follow my passion. I wanted to grow up knowing everything about animals, the bigger the better. I volunteered with horses and animal shelters, and spent much of my library time looking up every known animal in the world (the most bizarre is the Aye Aye). In the beginning, I had a whole plan of how I wanted to navigate my career with being a K-9 handler in the military and becoming a search and rescue dog trainer. Unfortunately, I wasn’t tall enough to complete the first step so I began my adventure of getting a Bachelor degree and plan to take my Masters in Public Affairs and Environmental Science. Animals and nature are my roots and I’m so excited to be with Fetch! Pet Care and meet all of you and your animals! I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and wanting to get a snake but my sister is terrified. I currently live with my sweet Freya, a newfie/golden mix, with definite plans to add to the clan. Outside of work, I spend my days going on hikes and training my pup. So far we have successfully tested in Novice Trick Dog and Canine Good Citizen. We begin Service training soon! I can’t wait to meet you! “Leave it better than you found it”
Bradi
Hi there! My name is Bradi and I am an animal lover! I worked at Petsmart while in college and absolutely loved being around dogs and cats! Then I got a job at a doggy daycare in Mishawaka, which was a blast! I got to interact with, care for, and supervise dogs all day, as well as clean up after them and handle transactions with their owners. It was a very fulfilling job, and I took on a lot of responsibility while working there. I learned a lot about how to interact with and care for many different kinds of dogs. Ever since working there, I’ve wanted to get back into working with animals. I currently have 3 cats- Agnes, Fumi, and Talia. They have such goofy personalities and I love being their mom. I grew up with a few family dogs- a dachshund named Dasher who we lost in 2005 and two golden retrievers, Zen and Bella. We lost Bella in December of 2019 and Zen in June of 2020. They were so full of love and they will always have a special place in my heart. I love to go visit my sister, who has a golden retriever named Enzo and a mini goldendoodle named Messi. They can be a handful sometimes but they are so full of love! Someday I’ll get a dog of my own, but for now I will be plenty happy loving on and caring for your fur baby!!
Shari
My name is Shari. I am a retired high school teacher and I love animals. Having been raised on a dairy farm in Elkhart County, animals have always been an important part of my life. As a child I remember the joy of the cows in the spring as they were released into the pasture after a long winter in the barn, and the surprise of Lady, our German Shepherd, when she gave birth to 14 puppies in her very first litter. When the veterinarian would come out for emergency visits, I watched in fascination as he examined and treated his distressed patients. I was certain I would go on to study veterinary medicine, but my education led me to Goshen College to major in Spanish and later Indiana University for a Masters in Education. However, my passion for animals has remained. I fondly remember the various fur babies I have been blessed with. Even though all have been a rescue in one way or another, it’s always felt like I am the one who has been rescued. In the early stages of the pandemic, I was teaching but we had gone to remote learning. That’s when Jasmine, a Sheltie mix, and I found each other, and she’s been a wonderful companion ever since. She was surrendered as a senior to the Humane Society of Elkhart County. I wish I knew her story but whatever it is, she was raised well. Jasmine is a great buddy for camping, hiking, and chasing squirrels. I have met many wonderful pets since joining Fetch Pet Care and I look forward to helping you in any way I can with your pet care needs.
Katie
Hi, my name is Katie, I absolutely adore all types of animals. My experience runs deep with animals from horses to dogs to even a bearded dragon. I live on 190 acres with my 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 indoor cats and I have some barn cats that come and go as they please. I have a huge passion for animals, I have had most every kind since I was a kid. I want to be the best sitter that I can be and make sure every animal gets love while you’re out and about.
Sarah
Hello! My name is Sarah and I’m a sitter at Fetch! Petcare of Michiana. I am so grateful for the opportunity to interact and learn more about animals as a sitter. I do not currently own a dog, being a student at the University of Illinois, but my childhood dog passed away about a year ago. I enjoyed walking and playing with her whenever I got the chance. Since she passed away, I have had an urge to be around dogs and other animals more because I miss that daily interaction with my pup. I have found that through fetch! I get to exercise my passion for animals and my interest in pet care. Truly the best of both worlds! I am so excited to share my love for animals with you all!
Randy
Hello, I’m Randy Weade, and I’m thrilled to offer my services as your dedicated pet sitter and walker. With a background as a middle school science teacher, I have a natural affinity for nurturing and understanding the needs of various creatures. A few unique additions to my family during my teaching days included Sheila the Tarantula, Jamison the Leopard Gecko, and Drago the Bearded Dragon all rehomed from former students. Princess Kitten Caboodle, a tortoiseshell cat I adopted from a roommate, was the feline companion that captured my heart with her love and tortitude. Despite her passing due to kidney failure, the joy she brought into my life inspired me to rescue two orange brothers, Sam and Dean, from the Humane Society. My passion for animals led me to volunteer at the Pet Refuge, where I’ve had the privilege of caring for cats. Joining Fetch! Pet Care has been a natural extension of my commitment to cultivating a deep connection with our four-legged friends. I understand the importance of individualized care, and there’s no request too unusual—I’m here to cater to your pets’ unique needs. When you entrust me with the care of your beloved animals, rest assured that they will receive the same love and attention I give to my own. I am committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for your pets, ensuring their well-being and happiness in your absence. I look forward to the opportunity to provide companionship and care for your animals, making sure they thrive even when you can’t be by their side.
